The project unfolds through a comparative study of Japanese and Maya cultures, specifically focusing on how the Japanese approach, appreciate, and utilize traditional colors.
By drawing parallels, the aim is to implement the Japanese model in studying the colors of Maya culture. This methodology promises to reveal the rich and complex visual language of Maya colors, providing a valuable resource for designers and artists alike. For the illustrations, I was inspired by elements of Maya culture while maintaining my own personal style.
