A Justice-Centered Designer

My name is Yanina Blanco. I am a Latina designer, educator, and scholar committed to transforming education and communities through design for social good. As a professor, illustrator, and researcher, my work bridges graphic design, social justice, and inclusive pedagogy. I center the voices of the marginalized, advocate for neurodiversity and cultural preservation, and use design as a tool to foster empathy, equity, and human connection. My practice is grounded in the belief that design is not just a visual language, but a powerful agent for justice, healing, and systemic change.
